Cyrano
Speak Your Book to Life
Your book already exists. It is in the hours you have already spoken. Cyrano finds it and writes it down.
Turn talk into a book
People who have something to say have usually already said it, out loud, many times over: in podcasts, interviews, talks, lessons, and recorded conversations. What they rarely have is the months it takes to turn all of that into a book. Cyrano closes that gap. It takes a body of recorded speech and produces a finished, structured manuscript, written in the speaker's own voice and drawn entirely from what they actually said.
How it works
- Listen. Cyrano ingests and transcribes your recordings, however many hours there are.
- Find the threads. It reads across everything you have said and surfaces the recurring themes, stories, and arguments that a book can be built from.
- Shape the book. Those threads become an ordered structure of parts and chapters.
- Write and edit. Cyrano drafts polished prose for each chapter and assembles the manuscript for your review.
Proven on a real archive
Figures from a real Cyrano engagement, anonymized. One archive, repurposed into many books.
One archive, many books
The same recordings can become more than one thing. From a single archive, Cyrano has produced a curated, themed book organized into parts and chapters, and a set of personalized volumes built around individual people. A lifetime of a podcast can become a body-of-work anthology. A family's recordings can become a keepsake for each person in them. What you have said once can be made into whatever a reader needs.
- A memoir or legacy book from interviews and personal recordings
- A themed book on your subject, drawn from years of talks or episodes
- Personalized volumes for individual people from a shared archive
- An anthology of a long-running show or body of work
Why Cyrano is different
Cyrano writes from what you said, not from what a model imagines you might have said. Every chapter is drawn from your real recordings and stays faithful to the source, which is the same standard of grounded, verifiable output that runs through all of Brenkins's work. It keeps your voice, and it works at the scale of an entire archive rather than a single transcript. The result is a manuscript you could have written, if you had the time you do not have.
